Supporting Students with Nexus

About Nexus

Nexus operates within eight regions  across the UK and Ireland, with nine student representatives acting as contacts between student societies, individual members and the IOP. The eight regions are: London, South East, Wales and South West (two representatives), Midlands, North West, North East, Scotland and Ireland. The distribution of universities with physics departments within these regions is displayed on the Nexus map. There are deliberately no boundaries shown on the map, since these regions are nor meant to be strictly defined and we do of course promote interaction between regions as well.

The Nexus representatives provide essential input and feedback to the improvement of Nexus, promote physics and the Institute within their regions, and help organise events for students. Follow the links below to find out more about the current Nexus representatives. An updated list of representatives from all Nexus regions will be available in November.
